The vibe
Atmosphere, first. Moody light and shadow, rich color, a little decadence, and a touch of drama. Think candlelight on a velvet banquette, a perfectly stirred Boulevardier at the bar, a vintage clutch in hand, or a duster thrown over the shoulder. Gilded layers of gold and emerald velvet, tobacco browns, and full-bodied burgundy, rich as a slice of layered red velvet cake, define the season—from the runway to the screen, the cocktail bar, and beyond.
