We were so happy to be asked back to the stunning Weylin for another styled shoot. They recently finished renovating their speak easy bar on the bottom level and were looking to see how the space could be filled for any events bound to be thrown in there. We sorted through our inventory and chose two looks we would love to see a lot of in that space. We pulled from both our Classic Collection + our Single Malt Collection.
This entry will be about our our Classic Collection which is filled with turn of the century pieces showcasing pieces with gilded frames, ornate details, neutral + blush tones, as well as brass + marble elements. Since their bar was built around an era where these pieces naturally were lingering about, this look really came to life in there.
For the main lounge area we chose our Juliette Settee which is upholstered with a beautiful blush velvet paired with a gilded gold ornate wooden frame. Across from the Juliette we placed our neutral tufted Perry Sofa. We then slid in our white Gilda Chairs to join the mix. The Braedon coffee table mixed with our Perfect side tables + Cecilia side tables all are topped with a white marble and have brass legs. The Beni rug was the perfect neutral rug to add to this vignette giving a little big of a subtle pattern to the vibe. For pillows we chose the gold velvet sides of the floral gray + gold, and the blush velvet sides of the tan + blush floral pillows. We also threw in some shearling pillows for texture and the pink Hackney pillows for a feminine touch of a floral print. We then propped the vignette up with hurricanes, vintage books, and some florals we ordered from Sprout and a few plants to add that green touch we love. This space is perfect for a lounge and its a quick few steps to the bar for guests to easily get their next round!
Behind the lounge there are a few steps to bring you up another level behind a beautiful iron gate. The walls are deep wood paneled with hidden doors that match the paneling, so you can close this section off to keep it secluded + intimate, or open it up if your party is larger and set up cocktail seating in the area behind it. Since we had one day with two looks on our hands, we decided to close off the area and stick to a few small vignettes to keep the shoot more intimate feeling.
On one side we decided to showcase our shapely Gwen chairs with a Cecilia side table in-between them. We used a neutral moroccan accent rug to anchor this area and threw in some Floor pillows for extra seating just incase! On the right is our Golden Eye Bar Cart that we decked out with all the fixings for a gin martini.
On the other side we pulled in our beautiful stark white Lilette Sofa and paired it with another Cecilia side table. We used an accent Persian rug that had pinks, reds and ivories to give it a splash of color and tie it in with the Gwen’s on the opposite side. On the other side we used our silver Bar Tray table to house a beautiful berry tart with some plates. Its always nice to see a treat around the corner at any event + we think that tray table is the perfect item to use for such a delightful surprise! Lastly we threw in some shearling pillows + a sheepskin throw for texture and used a floral pillow to align with the colors in the rug.
Now for their newly built, exceptionally stunning Speak Easy bar we decided to keep it simple to let the bar speak for itself. We chose our copper bar stools and threw on some sheepskins to add some texture to the vignette. To add in some life we added some props + florals to the bar to fit the scheme of the Classic vibe.
We hope to see parties thrown in this space using pieces from our Classic Collection. We love seeing how our clients use our inventory in such creative ways!! Looking forward to seeing what y’all do over at Weylin!
