Drankin’ in Style

We have an ever-growing collection of bar situations here. Tin bars, reclaimed wood bars, bar carts, bar trays, mantles, hutches we turn into bars… basically if it has a flat surface we can transform it into a bar! Can you tell we like to drink around here?!

A few ways to buckle down and bar it up at your holiday gatherings:

Holiday Drinking | Patina

Our handmade bars are great.  We built them in-house with you in mind so depending on the space and the volume of guests, you can use just one or use many connect them to form a longer bar.

The back of the bar has two long shelves which you can use for ice buckets filled with brews, or fruit you’ve prepped for cocktails- whatever works! We also love using shelving unit options here to put behind the bars and use as our bar backs too. They look great when ya fill them with all the liquors and glasses for the event. Prop them up with some plants and wallah, you got yourself a fine looking functional bar. We always pull up a few stool to saddle up to the bar (luckily we have a variety of them that looks great with our bars) Pretty swanky!

We gush over bar carts here. Corrin has curated a beautiful variety of them throughout the years and is constantly seeking others out. They are quite a fun feature too add to a lounge or next to a dining table. It’s an easy fix to deck them out with your favorite liquors, a stack of glasses and a mixer. We have a collection of decanters of all shapes and sizes to fancy it up!  Who doesn’t feel special pouring their own cocktails at an event? Theres nothing like a serve-yourself cocktail bar cart. We also have a variety of desks + hutches that we use to switch it up sometimes.

If you aren’t into the traditional bar, there are so many other options out there. Any flat surfaced piece of furniture can naturally become a bar — we’ve used coffee tables, side tables, mantles, hutches, ottomans, window ledges, desks – anywhere you want! The options are limitless.   Fill some decanters up paired with a stack of glasses and boom. The options are limitless. You can even add a fancy vintage tray to the situation to stick them on. And hey, if you are good at balancing, place the tray on your head and walk around! I’m sure the tray will be empty in no time!

Check out a few examples of how we like to run our bar game here using all the techniques above. Can’t wait to see how you bar your events!

Happy November drinking!
